The City of Duncanville operates on a fiscal year that begins October 1 and ends September 30 of each year. Budget planning begins in the spring, and we are kicking off budget season with a Town Hall Meeting to provide insight into the city’s annual budget and gather input on the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 (FY19-20) budget.
Topics include an overview of the City’s General Fund budget, sources of revenue, including property taxes and sales taxes, and expenditures by type of service provided and by department.
