2018 Fourth of July Parade Application/Information

Participate in the 2018 Fourth of July Parade sponsored by the Duncanville Lions Club! This year’s theme is “Spirit of Service,” and the parade will begin at 9 am with check-in at 7 am on Wednesday, July 4.

Entry deadline is Saturday, June 30 by 5 pm.

2018 CITY RUNOFF ELECTION – June 16th

The 2018 Runoff City Election will be held on Saturday, June 16th.

Scheduled voting times: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Monday, June 4th – Friday, June 8th: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 9th: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 10th: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Monday, June 11th – Tuesday, June 12th: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Election Day

Saturday, June 16th: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

City Accepting Hotel Occupancy Grant Requests

The City of Duncanville is now accepting Hotel Occupancy Tax Grant requests until June 4, 2018. 

Hotel Occupancy Tax Grants are grants awarded to events significantly increasing overnight tourism in Duncanville. The multiday events must take place in Duncanville, and grant requests must meet all State of Texas requirements in order to be considered for funding.
