The renter is also responsible for tear down, cleaning, and can only access and need to vacate the premises at the time listed on the rental agreement. All services that the City provides due to noncompliance with rental agreement are subject to an extra fees or loss of deposit.
The damage deposit will assure the city that funds are available should the event go past its scheduled rental time or any damages occur. Deposits are listed for the following facilities:
- Parkview or Northside Room – $250 deposit
- Recreation Center Rooms – $200 deposit
Reserving a Facility
Reservations can only be made in person at the Duncanville Recreation Center. The rental deposit is due immediately on the day of reservation, remaining balance must be paid 7 days in advance. Renters who are noncompliance forfeit their deposit. Payment options include cash, check, and credit cards.
Refunds will not be given when less time is used than the scheduled rental. A $30 administrative fee will be charged for all room reservation cancellations requested more than seven calendar days prior to reservation date and $10 administration fee for pavilion cancellations. Rental payments are non-refundable if the event is canceled within seven days of the rental. Refunds and deposit refunds are typically sent within 21 business days.
