In celebration of the Christmas Holiday, the City of Duncanville is hosting the annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting on Friday, December 6, 2019.
This year’s festivities will feature the lighted Christmas Parade down Main Street, pictures with Santa, the Tree Lighting Ceremony, and much more!
Christmas Parade | 7:00 pm
The Parade route starts on Wheatland Rd at Freeman St, heads west and turns right on N Main St then ends in downtown Duncanville.
Residents are welcome to set up blankets and chairs along the parade route to enjoy the fun and creative floats. After the parade, head to downtown for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and festivities!
Various road closures will affect the Wheatland & Main St area beginning at 6:00 pm on December 6.

Float entries welcome! There is a $25 float charge and applications are due by Friday, November 15.

Tree Lighting, Concert & Festivities | 8:00 pm
Downtown Duncanville near Memorial Park– 101 N. Main St., Duncanville, TX
Join Mayor Gordon as he lights the downtown Christmas tree to kick off the holiday festivities, including live performances, singing Christmas carols, yummy food and drink options, bounce houses, games and other activities. Be sure to dress up for pictures with Santa!
Pictures with Santa are located at Ben Franklin Apothecary.

Shuttle Service | 5:00 pm to End of Event | Costco
Shuttle service to and from the event is free to the Public. Due to various street closures and limited parking, the City of Duncanville will offer shuttle service before, during and after the event. Guests can park at Costco located at 250 E Hwy 67 in Duncanville to catch the shuttle.
To catch the parade, park and ride from Costco to the Phase I stop located at the southeast corner of Main & Wheatland at the Dallas County Tax Office. After the parade, road closures will open allowing the stop to progress to Phase II, located adjacent to the Main St activities at W Freeman & Main St.
