BACKGROUND
Jointly operated by the Cities of Duncanville, DeSoto and
Cedar Hill, the Tri-City Animal Shelter is a wonderful facility
for adopting pets. Possibly the best-kept secret south of
the Trinity River, the facility boasts great management,
is exceptionally clean and has high quality pets available
for adoption.
ADOPTIONS
$50 fee, plus, the adopter will agree to have the animal
vaccinated for rabies and will have the animal spayed or
neutered within a designated time period.
IMPOUNDED ANIMALS
A schedule of rates is established. The fee is dependent
on the number of offenses and the number of days the animal
has been at the shelter. Impounded animals are held for
three days, waiting for owner redemption. After this time
period, impounded animals are evaluated for adoption.
