There are a variety of non-profit agencies which participate in the Teen Court ’s program as community service work sites providing after-school and week-end opportunities from which the Teen Court defendant may choose to successfully complete their sentence. The Coordinator has a complete listing and will assist in the selection process.
Agencies supervise the work of the court-ordered defendants and provide documentation of volunteer hours worked to the youth for written confirmation to the Teen Court office. Each youth is responsible for scheduling work hours, performing the work and reporting the completed hours within a specified time period.
