The City of Duncanville is seeking volunteers for the Census Complete Count Committee, which is tasked with activities that support and help Duncanville get the most accurate 2020 Census count. Activities include outreach efforts, connecting with and assisting traditionally hard-to-count populations, helping to promote Census jobs, increase awareness of the importance and benefits of responding to the census, and ultimately drive participation in the 2020 census to benefit our community.

Please complete an application and bring to City Hall by September 26th.

The initial meeting will be held on September 26 at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Briefing Room

Census 2020 Background

The City of Duncanville is excited to announce that we are partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to support the 2020 Census. As a partner, we will be working to make sure our community is accurately represented in the upcoming decennial count.

The census counts everyone in the United States. Census results are the basis for congressional representation and help determine how more than $675 billion in federal funds is distributed each year to support vital programs in states and communities across the country. These funds shape local health care, housing, education, transportation, employment, and public policy.

As the 2020 Census approaches, we will continue to share information about how you can make sure our community is fully represented. Visit 2020CENSUS.GOV anytime to get the latest news.
