About the Fire Department                                                                                       

The Duncanville Fire Department is staffed by 53 dedicated career professionals providing a broad range of emergency and non-emergency services to residents of Duncanville and surrounding areas.

Services
Operating from two fire stations and having an ISO public protection classification of two, our personnel provide emergency medical response and transport, fire response, and other related emergency services. The department also provides for the safety of our residents through commercial building surveys, code enforcement activities, and public education.

Response Area
The Duncanville Fire Department responds to more than 6,000 calls annually and has a primary response area of 11.2 square miles. We protect 38,000 persons within our city limits and participate in a regional response program with Cedar Hill, Dallas, and DeSoto through an extensive automatic aid program.

Ambulance Transport Billing Hardship Policy and Application 


The Duncanville Fire Department has a National Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician available to assist with the installation of car seats.
