Garbage Pickup Information

Garbage and recycling collection is provided as a service through Republic Services. If you have any questions concerning services provided by Republic Services you can contact them direct at 972-225-5252.

Garbage, Trash and Recycling are to be placed at your designated pickup point by 7:00 AM the day of pickup.

Garbage and Trash are to be secured in a disposable container. (Plastic bags, no trash cans.)
Furniture, appliances, and similar household items are collected on regular pickup days.
Small amounts of brush, shrubs, and vines are to be cut in 4 foot lengths not to exceed 50 lbs. in weight, stacked with the garbage.

Large amounts of brush to be chipped need to be cut in 6 to 8 foot lengths. Not to exceed 6 inches in diameter, stacked with the large ends toward the street. Call Republic Services at 972-225-5252 for service.

 

 

 

Additional Chipping Information:

• Width of branches should be trimmed to accommodate the six foot opening of the chipper.
• Brush placed out for chipper service should be free of metal, wire, fencing material, and vines.
• Branches and stumps exceeding 8" in diameter must be cut in 2-foot increments with a 50 pound limit per log and stacked for collection as part of regular trash service.
• Chipper trucks can not get in alleys so all brush must be placed at curb in front of residence.

Sanitation pickup days for garbage, trash, shrubs and vines:

Monday/Thursday - Zone 1
Tuesday/Friday - Zone 2

Garbage Collection Holidays

New Years Day - Fourth of July - Labor Day - Thanksgiving - Christmas

Garbage will not be picked up on the above holidays. Service will be provided on your next regular collection day.
