 Duncanville
Fire Department takes its commitment to protecting the lives
and property of the Citizens of Duncanville seriously. As
part of that commitment, the Training department believes
in taking a proactive approach to today’s challenges
caused by both man-made and natural disasters alike.
 "Regional
Training" is held on a monthly basis in cooperation
with Cedar Hill, DeSoto and Lancaster Fire Departments.
Using resources from each department, firefighters can receive
valuable "true to life" or "live" training
in a controlled environment, with minimal cost to any one
department.
Recently, the Duncanville Fire Department took part in
a variety of exercises including; Low/High Angle Rescue,
Swiftwater Rescue and School Bus Extrication. Through training
such as these, the Firefighters of the City of Duncanville
will be ready to respond, what ever the call maybe.
