Custodian - Building Maintenance
$23,402 /year to start
Requirements:
Position requires unskilled manual labor and low-level, semi-skilled tasks. The primary duty of this position is to provide the daily cleaning of the Library / Recreation Center, Monday - Friday. Candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivating, and be able to follow oral and written directions. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, waxing and buffing floors, cleaning carpets, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, setting up and breaking down folding tables and chairs, providing minor building maintenance, and other duties as may be assigned. Must have the ability to use common hand tools and equipment associated with building maintenance. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, such as buffer and carpet cleaning extractor is preferred, but not required. Open until filled.
