Approximately 60 residents gathered on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the D.L. Hopkins Senior Center to hear a presentation regarding code-related activities in Duncanville. City staff discussed several topics, including code enforcement, health inspections, building permits, parking laws, home-based businesses, abandoned/junk vehicles, tree maintenance and fire code regulations. With various departments on hand to answer questions, residents had one-on-one time to share concerns, ask questions and gain a better understanding of the Code of Ordinances, what the city is doing to maintain the quality of life in Duncanville and what the residents can do to help keep the community looking good.
