Holiday Trash, Recycling & Facility Schedule

​​All City of Duncanville administrative offices will be closed on Monday, December 24, Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

The Duncanville Fieldhouse, Library, Recreation facility and Senior Center will be closed December 24 & 25, as well as January 1.​

Solid waste, recycling and bulk collection service will not run on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Refuse collection will resume on the following regularly scheduled pick up day.

The City of Duncanville provides Christmas tree recycling through January 11th at the Service Center located at 330 Shady Trail. Residents may drop off their trees in the grassy area by the existing mulch pile on Shady Trail near Main Street (there will be signage to direct you to the area). Christmas trees must be free of lights and decorations and cannot be in any type of wrap, especially plastic. The mulch is provided free to residents. The City Manager provides a weekly update to City Council of departmental activities and other significant items of interest, and that in the interest of also keeping the public better informed, the City is pleased to make those updates available to the citizens.
